Health claims about food products have very specific requirements.  The food or a serving of the food must meet certain compositional requirements, depending on the type of claim, and require particular wording to ensure that the consumer gets the full intent of the health claim.  The course also includes the requirements for the Nutrient Profiling Criteria Score.  Health claims generally centre around the overall diet of the consumer and it is this that must also be communicated.  This course pulls together the necessary information needed to make a health claim either on the label or in advertising.  And remember - advertising can also mean what you say on your website and also in your social media posts.
